Family Fitness Room
Please Limit Workouts to 30 minutes.
The Family Fitness Room is offered as a convenience for Fitness Center patrons so children are not exposed to dangerous adult exercise equipment, while affording parents an opportunity to receive a quality fitness workout. The Air Force and its employees do not assume responsibility for children in the Family Fitness Room or the Fitness Center.
Rules for the Family Fitness Area are as follows:
1. Usage of the Family Fitness Room is only available to parents with children present, regardless of equipment availability.
2. Parents/legal guardians are responsible for the direct supervision of their own children while using the Family Fitness Room and the Fitness Center.
3. Children may remain in car seats but otherwise, must remain in play area. Children are not allowed on the exercise equipment. If a child needs to use the restroom, the parent/legal guardian will accompany the child to and from the restroom. For diaper changing, parents/legal guardians must use the changing table provided in the restrooms.
4. Sick children are not allowed to use the Family Fitness Room. A child may not use the playroom if he or she displays symptoms of a contagious disease or did not attend day care or school due to illness. Parents/legal guardians are responsible for ensuring that the following conditions or symptoms do not exist: cold, fever of 101 degrees within the past 24 hours, constant cough, in the first 24 hours on an antibiotic, diarrhea (when not on antibiotics), or fussiness or abnormal disposition.
5. In case of a fire alarm, please gather your children and follow the exit signs outside the building immediately.
6. Food and drink are not permitted in the child play area
7. Please make sure all toys are removed from the Family Fitness Area when the child leaves.
8. If a piece of Fitness Equipment is malfunctioning, please bring it to the attention of the Fitness Center staff immediately. 777-2762
9. The parents/legal guardians of unruly children will be asked to leave the facility. Children who fight, bite, or throw tantrums are considered unruly.
10. Parents/legal guardians must clean, sanitize, and organize the Family Fitness Area before leaving. Please use the gym wipes to clean workout equipment and the Lysol wipes to clean the child play area.
11. Parents/legal guardians or children who violate play area policies and procedures may be denied future use of Family Fitness Area or the Fitness Center.
