Archery

The Archery Range is located along Deer Run Drive on the northeast side of the base overlooking Weber Canyon. The range features a measured course with distances up to 60 yards for normal practice. There is a 3-D field course offering a variety of shooting situations from level, uphill, downhill, and cross-canyon shots. A broadhead course is available for practice prior to the bow hunt with marked distances up to 60 yards. We also maintain an indoor tuning trailer that allows for paper tuning and a 10 yard shot for setting up your new bow. There are currently 21 targets set up on the 3-D range; it takes approximately 90 minutes to complete the entire course.

There are youth bows available for archery instruction. Archery instruction for youth and adults is free. Contact Mark Sage at 985-4750 for more information.

We host several 3-D shoots, youth archery days, and Ladies Only events throughout the year to build and promote the sport of archery. If you have any questions concerning the Hill Archers, contact President JASON JULIANA 775-2211 or Vice President SCOTT VAN ALLEN 777-8092

The clubhouse has an assortment of archery equipment available to members. The indoor shooting trailer has a short 10 yard range that can be used for paper tuning, chronograph, and general practice. The archery shop, located in the main clubhouse, has a bow press, bow vise, arrow saw, arrow inspection tool, and fletching equipment. All of these are available to club members at no charge.

There are youth bows available for archery instruction. Archery instructions for youth and adults are free. Contact an Archery Club officer for more details.

There are currently 27 targets set up on the 3-D range, it takes approximately 90 minutes to complete the entire course.
